Shahbaz says taking steps to improve investment

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif said on Saturday that the provincial government is undertaking substantial efforts to promote investment in the province.

According to a private news channel, the chief executives of different companies met with Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore Saturday and discussed issues related to investment promotion, economic stability and ways to curtail energy crisis.

During the meeting, a committee was also formed to implement various developmental projects in the province while the committee will also submit recommendations to expedite the process of industrialization and to overcome power crisis.
