PESHAWAR: An earthquake of mild intensity measuring 4.1 on International Richter scale has struck upper areas of country including Swat, Malakand, Dir, Buner, Shangla and adjoining areas in wee hours on Monday.
According to initial report of met office no loss of life has been reported so far while rescue activities have been started.
The epicenter of the quake lied 21 kilometers away from Chitral district.
