KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has asked the Anti-Terrorist Court (ATC) to declare Musharraf a proclaimed offender for avoiding court orders Aaj News reported on Saturday.
The FIA also requested that the former president’s assets be confiscated in the country.
Earlier, the FIA had submitted a formal request to Interpol for extradition of Musharraf from the UK.
It may be mentioned that the two governments have no formal extradition treaty.
The ATC has adjourned the hearing till May 7.
The hearing of the Benazir Bhutto assassination case was held at Adiala Jail.
