LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 3.43 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4046.27 and closed at 4049.70 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.693 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.144 million shares, showing an upward move of 549,100 shares. While, out of the total 107 active scrips, 34 moved up, 57 remained equal with 16 down values.
Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Honda Atlas Cars (Pak) Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 4.52, Rs 2.31 and Rs 2.01 respectively.
Askari Bank Limited, Pak Elektron Limited and Engro Polymer and Chemical Limited lost their per share value by Rs 0.55, Rs 0.40 and Rs 0.35 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included NIB Bank Limited with 338,000 shares, Dewan Farooq Motors Limited with 176,500 shares and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 145,000 shares.
