HUBCO posts low profit

KARACHI: Hub Power Company (HUBCO) has posted a slightly low profit after tax of Rs 4.284 billion for nine months ending March 31 2011 due to higher financial cost.

According to financial results despatched to KSE here Tuesday, gross profit has surged to Rs 6.483 billion against Rs 5.774 billion during same period last year.

The earning per share slipped to Rs 3.70 during the period under review compared to Rs 3.71 in the corresponding period of 2010.
