In a three-minute clip posted on the video-sharing site today, YouTube announced that it had been nothing but a worldwide competition to find the best video in the world, and now it’s going to shut down for a decade while a team of judges sift through all the videos and select the winner. YouTube would bestow the victor with a $500 prize and feature only that winning video on the site when it reopens in 2023.
Google went a step further by actually incorporating its hoax product onto the face of its search engine. Good news: horse manure (yummm), spring morning and wet dog are all available! Meanwhile, SafeSearch will keep users away from unwarranted smells.
“Twttr” announced last night that unless you’re a premium user, you need to keep vowels away from your tweets because if you don’t, Twitter will cost you $5 a month from now onwards. Who needs vowels anyway? Ask a teenager and they’ll tell you how expendable and overrated they’ve become.
