Glencore says will enter London, Hong Kong stock markets

ZURICH: Swiss commodities giant Glencore said Thursday it plans to enter the London and Hong Kong stock markets and raise between nine billion and 11 billion dollars (6.2 to 7.6 billion euros).

"The global offer is expected to represent between 15 and 20 percent of the company's post-IPO issued share capital," the Baar-based group said in a statement.

The offer, to be completed in May, includes a primary listing on London's FTSE 100 and a secondary listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
