Farhan Akhtar to play a prominent role in ‘Don 3’ along with Shahrukh Khan

The ace actor and director Farhan Akhtar is all set to direct a third installment of his franchise ‘Don’ and this time the actor will not only direct the film but will also play a prominent role in the film.

A source reveals that, “Farhan directed the first two installments with Shah Rukh Khan and they went on to be massive hits. The sequel was also very well received by the audience. Farhan Akhtar has now planned to play a role in the film. Shah Rukh Khan will continue to play a ‘Don’ role and ‘Rock on’ star will equally have an important role.

Don 3 will go on the floors next year, currently the film is in the scripting stage, media reported.
