Sri Lanka’s star player Kumar Sangakkara bid adieu to international cricket on August 23. Tributes from different international cricketers are still pouring in for one of the greats of the game. Indian captain Virat Kohli too joined in to hail the left-hander as he wrote a special heart-felt message for him.

Sangakkara played his last international innings on 4th day of second test against India. He departed for a run-a-ball 18. Each and every Indian player shook hands with the 37-year-old as he made his way back to the pavilion.

India won his first Test and levelled the 3-match series 1-1 against Sri Lanka at P Sara Oval.
