imageLAHORE: The 50th One Day International between Pakistan and Zimbabwe will be played at Gaddafi Stadium here on Friday.

Zimbabwe will have to face massive pressure after losing all three games during its tour, two T2O Internationals and first ODI while Pakistani top four performance especially Shoaib Malik's entry with a brilliant hundred will also pressurise the visiting team.

Muhammad Sami, who got a chance after three years could not disturbed the batsmen and now pacer Junaid Khan is likely to be given a chance in next ODI.

For Zimbabwe the batting has shaped up really well on this tour. Especially players like Hamilton Masakadza, Elton Chigumbura, Sean Williams have batted really well in the T20s and first ODI. Their main problem was bowling and they failed to defend 170 plus scores twice in the T20 series.

Though Pakistan won the T20s series 2-0 and first ODI but Zimbabwe team was very competitive as both the T20s finished in the last over and showed brilliant bating even following the huge total. Pakistan will start as favourites in the one-dayers, but the visitors have the potential to upset them.

Before this, Pakistan faced Zimbabwe in 49 ODIs in which the green shirts beat Zimbabwe in 46 matches while three were lost, one was tie and one could not provide any result.

Former Pakistani batsman Muhammad Yousaf has the record of scoring most runs against Zimbabwe.
