imageKARACHI: PCB Chairman Shaharyar Khan has complimented Fawad Alam for his fighting qualities and crisis management.

"Fawad has shown fighting qualities under pressure which show his talent and qualities," he told reporters on Friday.

He said that is big requirement in Pakistan team and come up with good performance under pressure is great achievement and is part of crisis management.

Fawad keep scoring runs and rotating strike in difficult times which, he said impressed him.

He said not performing under pressure was gray area of Pakistan and players should learn to perform in crisis situation.

He said he was not too impressed with Pakistan team player as they are not showing any crisis management under pressure which very vital

PCB Chairman said he was looking for more tours for Pakistan "A" and Pakistan Under-19 teams to groom and prepare players as back up line.

He said efforts will be made in inviting foreign "A" and, Under-19 teams to Pakistan and wise versa to open the doors of international cricket in Pakistan.

He said in the start Pakistan team invite teams like Afghanistan, Ireland, Scotland, Zimbabwe Pakistan to revive international cricket.

However he said reciprocity is required in this regard because foreign teams are reluctant to visit Pakistan because of security situations.

He said it was difficult to resume cricket ties with India in Pakistan after terrorists strike in Mumbai.

Shaharyar Khan said, he will be visiting India next month and may discuss an taken up the issue with the BCCI officials.

He said Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq and chief coach Waqar Younis said lack of international cricket in Pakistan and long layoff cause of team's poor show.
