KARACHI: Engro Fertilizers Limited, 100pc subsidiary of Engro Chemical, has declared achievement of "commercial operations date" effective June 24, 2011, of its new fertilizer plant.
According to a communique despatched to KSE here Friday, the plant is capable of producing 1.3 million metric tons of urea per annum.
The plant has been satisfactorily producing on-spec urea at expected production levels considering the gas curtailment currently underway.
