Bomb found from New Karachi defused

KARACHI: Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused a bomb found from Khawaja Ajmer Nagri here on Tuesday.

According to police, information was received about a suspicious parcel in Khawaja Ajmer Nagri area near Rashidabad police picket, New Karachi in the limit of Khawaja Ajmer Nagri Police station on Monday.

The police rushed to the scene and Bomb Disposal Squad was called in. The BDS experts successfully defused the home-made bomb, weighted around 2 kilograms. The explosive devise was planted in a pressure cooker.
