KARACHI: The managements of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Monday resolved to amicably settle major issues including gas supplies and long standing arrears.
According to SSGC, the chairman and board of directors of KESC and SSGC took this decision during a joint meeting held at SSGC House here on February 20.
They expressed their determination to resolve major issues of common interest especially pertaining to gas supplies, long standing dues and the gas sales agreement. The meeting, also attended by the Managing Directors and the senior management of both the companies, was held in a cordial environment.
The boards of both organisations agreed to meet on a regular basis so that these matters are resolved.
