ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party leader Sharmila Farooqi said that the death sentence of PPP founder and former Prime Minister zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a cruel murder.
Talking to PTV on Monday, Sharmila said "today our judiciary has no ristriction on it and has the opportunity to take notice on Presidential reference of this cruel murder".
She said,"if you see all the newspapers of that time through out the world, they wrote that it was a wrong decision and happened under pressure".
The murder of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was wrong decision because the case had no evidences, no witnesses and incomplete bench. She said it was a great loss because he was the only leader who gave the true constitution and laid the foundation to make the country a nuclear power.
Sharmila maintained that PPP always bring democracy in the country and this democracy is the reward of assassinations of Bhutto's family.
PPP is not only a party, a name and politics it is in fact philosophy of life. Bhutto gave the courage to the nation which is now in front of us, today the whole nation is sad and no dictator can finish the relation between Bhutto and the nation, she said.
Sharmila said that President Zardari is working on Bhutto'agenda and he is democratic president who gave all powers to parliament.
PPP is only that party who worked for females rights and after Quaid-e-Azam, Bhutto worked for the nation.
