lahore-stockLAHORE: Bearish trend prevailed in Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday as it shed 137.08 points, following the LSE-25 index opened with 4040.61 and closed at 3903.53 points.

 

The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 6.069 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.329 million shares, showing an upward move of 2.740 shares. While, out of the total 104 active scrips 0 moved up, 59 shed values and 45 remined equal.

 

Attock Refinery Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Engro Foods Limited lost their per share value by Rs. 5.36, Rs. 4.13 and Rs. 2.88respectively.

 

The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.333 million share, Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 1.172 million shares and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 799,500 shares.
