SEOUL: South Korea's trade surplus rose to $3.1 billion in March from a revised $2.46 billion the previous month amid robust exports, preliminary official figures showed Friday. It was the 14th straight month that the country has posted a surplus.
Exports increased 30.3 percent year-on-year to $48.6 billion last month, with imports rising 27.9 percent to $45.49 billion, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy said.
