KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah in his message on Pakistan Day, has said that March 23 is a historic day in the chronicles of the country, which the whole nation marks with respect and pride.
He said the country was founded due to Pakistan Resolution passed on March 23, 1940.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah said the province of Sindh and the people of Sindh played a significant role in founding of this great country.
The Sindh CM recalled that the provincial Assembly of Sindh had passed a resolution for the making of Pakistan.
He said Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto sacrificed their lives for restoration of democracy and to bring prosperity in the country.
He said the present democratic government is making all out efforts and following the footsteps of our great leaders, under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari to develop Pakistan in accordance with the Pakistan Resolution.
