Malik Noor Khan Wazir and Malik Gul Wali Khan Mehsud told APP here that President's address is panacea of all problems faced by the country and region today.

The tribal elders put their weight behind the foresighted vision of President Zardari who rightly said that militancy and terrorism is a great challenge that needed to be arrested for lasting peace and development in the region.

The tribesmen elders welcomed President's assurance for reforms in FATA and amendments in Frontier Crime Regulations.

They also appreciated the President's bold decision for changing status of Kala-Dhaka into Torghar district.

They expressed the hope that the menace of militancy and terrorism would also be addressed and law and order situation besides developmental work would be started on massive scales to mitigate suffering of tribal people.

The said education is the backbone of any society and President Asif Ali Zardari by giving powers to parliament under the 18th amendment would promote quality education in Fata.

Under the said amendment, they said that education has been declared as basic and enforceable right for children aged 5 to 16 years. They also appreciated the government decisions declaring the current year as year of education. The urged government to expediate work on ongoing education schemes in South Wazirstan Agency.
