Court charges Babar Awan in forgery case

babar-awan2_400RAWALPINDI: A Civil Court of Rawalpindi on Thursday charged Federal Minister for Law Babar Awan in a case registered against him over fraud and forgery, Aaj TV reported.

Police had registered case of fraud and forgery against Babar Awan in 1996.

The civil judge charged the federal minister under section 452 and 456.

The Federal Minister also appeared in the court during hearing of the case. He denied the charges.

The court, after denial of the minister, adjourned the hearing till January 27. –MONITORING DESK
