ind nz 2 400 HYDERABAD: India were 97-2 at lunch after winning the toss on the opening day of the first Test against New Zealand in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Sachin Tendulkar was unbeaten on 12 at the break, with Cheteshwar Pujara also not out 12.
