ISLAMABAD: The Federal government has approved 3000 new jobs for FATA (Federally Administered Tribal Areas) aiming at uplifting the lifestyle of the people of the tribal areas.
According to a private Radio channel, Correspondent Fazlullah said these new jobs will be created in the Levies Force; adding that its total strength in FATA at present stood at about 9000.
He said criteria for fair distribution of jobs among the Agencies and the tribesmen as well had already been made at a meeting attended by high level officials and parliamentarians from FATA.
Under the criteria, a tribesman should be a bonafide resident of FATA, his age should stand between 18 to 25 years and his spouse should not be a foreigner.
