Singer Mahjabeen Qazalbash passes away

Famous singer, Mahjabeen Qazalbash, passed away after a protracted illness in Lady Reading Hospital (LRH), the other day. She was a cardiac patient and admitted to Intensive Care Unit of Lahore two months back due to complications where she breathed her last.

Mahjabeen was born in Peshawar. During her singing career spanned over 43 years, she sung thousands of song in Pashto, Hindko, Urdu and Punjabi. She was 62. Meanwhile, KP Governor Shah Farman, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, politicians and artistes have expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Mahjabeen.
