Chicago Board of Trade corn futures fell for the third day in a row on Friday, hitting one week low on forecasts for massive US supplies.
Signs of good export demand kept the losses in check but prices closed near session lows.
For the week, the most-active corn futures contract dipped 0.3%.
Export sales of corn totaled 1.25 million tonnes in the week ended Feb. 13, the US Agriculture Department said. That was just above the high end of market forecasts that ranged from 700,000 tonnes to 1.2 million tonnes.
USDA projected that US farmers would grow a record-large 15.5 billion-bushel corn crop in 2020, and ending stocks were seen swelling to 2.637 billion bushels.
