Jordan buys total 120,000 tonnes feed barley in tender

• The other 60,000 tonne consignment was bought at $203.50 a tonne c&f for shipment in the second half of June.
• One 60,000 tonne consignment was bought at $209.90 a tonne c&f for shipment in the first half of May.

HAMBURG: Jordan's state grain buyer has purchased 120,000 tonnes of animal feed barley to be sourced from optional origins in an international tender which closed on Wednesday, traders said.

It was bought in two 60,000 tonne consignments, both from trading house GTCS.

One 60,000 tonne consignment was bought at $209.90 a tonne c&f for shipment in the first half of May.

The other 60,000 tonne consignment was bought at $203.50 a tonne c&f for shipment in the second half of June.
