Saudi FM Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud arrives in Pakistan on maiden visit

Newly appointed Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud arrived on Thursday in Pakistan for a day-long official visit.

This will be the first visit by the Saudi foreign minister since he assumed office in October. The minister arrived at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office where he was received by the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

Both the ministers will discuss the bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest. According to a press release from the Foreign Office, the Saudi minister will also call on Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Frequent high-level visits are a key feature of the relationship and serve to further deepen and broaden mutual collaboration, the FO statement said.
