Minister for body to address M&R issues of government's houses

Minister for Housing and Works Tariq Bashir Cheema Thursday said that the government should constitute a committee to visit government accommodations in the capital to address the maintenance and repairing issues.

Responding to a calling attention notice, the minister said that he has already requested the Finance Div for releasing funds to cater the maintenance issue.

He said that the government is not deducting maintenance allowance from the salaries of federal employees of BPS-1 to BPS 5 and "we are aware of the issues of residents living in the government accommodations."
