Vigilance committees for KMC hospitals' inspection formed

Pursuing the directives of the Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar, KMC has formed 3 inspection and vigilance committees to visit the premises of offices, hospitals to check the attendance of staff and also inspect the hygienic condition and observe the security issues.

These committees shall perform their duty under the supervision of the KMC senior director (HRM), in accordance to the terms of references (TORs) and submit their recommendations on weekly basis for onward transmission to the Mayor.

The 5-member committee for inspection and vigilance the offices located inside the premises of KMC Head Office, will be chaired by director Admin & Accounts (HRM) whereas other members include the HRM director Rectt, director Estt, director R&A and the additional director Rectt, R&C.

The 7-member committee to inspect the KMC offices, hospitals outside the premises of the head office during day timings will have Asghar Durrani as its chairman and Iqbal Nawaz, Rasheed Jamal, Zafar Rajput,Ehtisham Kamali, Sohail Rana and Tanveer Ahmed as members whereas the third committee comprising seven members for inspection and vigilance for KMC offices, hospitals outside the premises of the head office during night timings will be chaired by Ahsan Mirza with Wasiq Afridi, Rashid Akhtar, Muhammad Amyn, Shariq Ilyas, Tariq Ali Siddiqui and Irshad Lodhi as members.
