Kundi to act as Speaker National Assembly

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Speaker National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi will act as Speaker of the House in the absence of Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza who has proceeded on a visit abroad from April 15.

According to a press release issued by National Assembly Secretariat (media wing), on Monday that in the pursuance of the provisions of the clause (3) of Article 53 of the constitution, Faisal Karim Kundi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly shall act as Speaker National Assembly , with effect from the April 15, vice Dr Fehmida Mirza, Speaker National Assembly who has proceeded on visit abroad.
