Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab Secretary Information Syed Hassan Murtaza has criticized Federal Minister Fawad Ch for creating panic amongst public by issuing an irresponsible statement.
He said the PPP would set up 800 new departments against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) move of closing down 400 departments. He said the PPP would hold protest on streets as well as in the assembly against an irresponsible statement from the federal minister.
He said the PPP was proud of giving jobs to hundreds and thousands of Pakistanis and many of its former prime ministers have faced cases for offering jobs to people. He said the PPP would continue committing the crime of offering jobs to people in future as well. Meanwhile, PPP Punjab Secretary General Ch Manzoor Ahmed has condemned torture of Punjab police against journalists, saying the Punjab police were least bothered about any socio-political pressure.
