Shabbir for Kashmir settlement through meaningful talks

ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference and the President of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, has said that only meaningful dialogue can bring about a just settlement of the Kashmir dispute.

According to Kashmir Media service,addressing his party activists in Srinagar, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, called for ensuring the participation of the Hurriyet leadership in Pak-India talks on Kashmir for making the process result-oriented.

The senior APHC leader said that the Kashmiris were not averse to the Pak-India friendship, but added that this friendship could only be durable and sustainable after settling the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris' aspirations.
