Isolated thunderstorm rain likely across country

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department (PMD) on Friday forecast isolated thunderstorm rain in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, Upper Sindh, North-East Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 24 hours.

In Islamabad, Karachi, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Gilgit-Baltistan and Murree mainly partly cloudy and thunderstorm rain is expected in most parts during the next 24 hours.

The highest maximum temperature of 40 C was recorded in Mirpurkhas and Nawabshah.

The minimum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were: Islamabad 29 C, Lahore 31 C, Quetta 27 C, Karachi 33 C, Peshawar 28 C, Muzaffarabad 24 C, Gilgit 20 C, Murree 16 C, Multan 35 C, Faisalabad 32C.
