Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan has said agenda of 'Azadi March' is not clear and alleged that objectives of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Indian spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) are same.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Ghulam Sarwar Khan said nothing could be said about what Fazlur Rehman would do in Islamabad. "If there were any problems, Maulana should have sit and talked peacefully to the government," he added. He said even Fazlur Rehman is not clear whether his sit-in is for Kashmir or against the incumbent government.
He said the government will fully support the JUI-F's 'Azadi March' if it is staged at the Line of Control (LoC). The aviation minister further said there was a motive behind Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's sit-in whereas no purpose is visible behind Maulana's protest. "Fazlur Rehman was the chairman of Kashmir Committee but he did not utter a single word regarding Kashmir," he asserted adding that JUI-F can do anything it wants but it should refrain from spoiling the Kashmir cause.
The federal minister said they will tackle Fazlur Rehman's strategy with a similar kind of tactic. "Prime Minister Imran Khan has said if Maulana has a problem then option for dialogue is available," he added.
The minister went on to ask if JUI-F had ever spoken on the attacks which were executed at schools, universities and seminaries. He asked if Maulana had even spoken against the terrorist Kulbhushan Jadhav who was caught from Balochistan.Meanwhile, Federal Minister said Iran and Saudi Arabia have tensions between them and Pakistan is playing the role of a mediator. "Pakistan can help in bringing both nations closer and will not be a part of the dispute," he added.
