NA Body reviews progress on electoral rolls preparation

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Standing Committee on Interior Wednesday reviewed the progress made so far on preparation of electoral rolls by Election Commission in coordination with NADRA.

The Committee, met here under the chairmanship of Abdul Qadir Patel was also briefed about the steps, being taken to ensure transparency in the compilation of electoral rolls in the light of its recommendations.

MNAs Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi, Chaudhry Mahmood Bashir Virk, Wasim Akhtar and Ms. Bushra Gohar alongwith officials of Ministry of Interior, Population Census Organization and National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) also attended the meeting.
