KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 16,234.38 points with a positive change of 319.28 and volume of 92,812,900 shares. High and Low were 16,359.10 and 15,699.44 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 28 were up, 2 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 128,886,530 shares. Total companies traded were 341 of which 238 were positive, 81 were negative and 22 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 29,248,400 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 18,083,400 shares.
