KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 17,420.62 points with a positive change of 665.67 and volume of 171,487,300 shares. High and Low were 17,451.91 and 16,754.95 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 30 were up, 0 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 261,691,230 shares. Total companies traded were 389 of which 334 were positive, 41 were negative and 14 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 41,854,500 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 34,426,800 shares.
