RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday organized a demonstration here at Benazir Bhutto Road against load-shedding and price hike.
The demonstration was attended among others by local PML-N MNAs, Malik Ibrar Ahmed, Malik Shakeel Awan, MPAs Malik Iftikhar Ahmed, Malik Ghulam Raza, Malik Shehryar, Raja Muhammad Hanif, Zia Ullah Shah, Raja Fayyaz Sarwar, Shoukat Bhatti, party leaders and workers.
PML-N leader Sardar Naseem and others addressed the rally and demanded of the government to take solid steps to control load-shedding, price hike, unemployment and other problems being faced by the people.
The protestors marched towards Marir chowk from Rescue 15 and raised slogans against the PPP led coalition government.
They said that load-shedding must be controlled as it is badly affecting industrial sector and economic activities in the country.
It is pertinent to mention here that the people faced great inconvenience as the busiest Murree road remained closed for several hours due to demonstration.
