RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 16,332.31 points with a positive change of 551.59 and volume of 85,938,300 shares. High and Low were 16,445.11 and 15,846.10 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 21 were up, 9 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 142,578,880 shares. Total companies traded were 373 of which 268 were positive, 86 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 24,830,000 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 17,940,300 shares.
