GARHI KHUDA BUKSH: The Central Executive Committee (CEC) of PPP on Tuesday unanimously passed a resolution expressing full confidence over the leadership of PPP Co-Chairman, President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The resolution was presented by Secretary General of PPP, Senator Jehagir Badar.
The CEC meeting expressed confidence on the leadership and thanked the party Co-Chairman President Asif Ali Zardari and Vice Chairman Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani for their efforts for unanimous passage of the 18th, 19th and 20th constitutional amendments from the Parliament and for restoration of the 1973 Constitution in its original form.
The meeting also presented tribute and expressed confidence over President Asif Ali Zardari to file a reference in the Supreme Court to ascertain the reality of error of judgement of the judicial murder of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and to correct the history of this judicial murder.
The CEC demanded arrest of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto's killers and to bring them into justice.
The resolution said that today's democracy in the country was due to reconciliation policy of the government and as a result of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto's efforts and sacrifices for the cause of democracy.
