Altaf condemns attack on a passenger van in Quetta

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain condemned the incident of firing on a passenger van at Spini Road in Quetta resulting in tragic deaths of several people and termed it as an act of terrorism.

He called upon the government to take serious notice of the incident and take steps to arrest and to bring the perpetrators behind the incident to justice, said a statement issued by MQM on Thursday.

Altaf also called for taking steps to safeguard the life and property of the people.

He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls of the passengers killed in the attack and for early recovery for those who sustained injuries.
