KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Friday at 17,982.08 points with a negative change of -87.80 and volume of 34,485,700 shares. High and Low were 18,178.52 and 17,944.63 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 4 were up, 26 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 55,509,750 shares. Total companies traded were 304 of which 62 were positive, 218 were negative and 24 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 9,634,500 shares. It was followed by Power Generation and Distribution with a total traded volume of 7,767,500 shares.
