KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 18,464.92 points with a negative change of -307.91 and volume of 81,447,400 shares. High and Low were 19,046.42 and 18,408.08 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 1 were up, 29 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 111,859,060 shares. Total companies traded were 318 of which 61 were positive, 241 were negative and 16 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 22,242,000 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 14,201,700 shares.
