HYDERABAD: Federal Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Mola Bux Chandio has said that Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani will remain the country's prime minister and the elections would be held after completion of the present government's constitutional tenure.

Speaking to the media here on Sunday during a visit to the residence of the party's youth wing leader, the Minister controverted any change of the prime minister.

He said that Pakistan Peoples Party's government respects the judiciary and was implementing all its orders.

"Even if we disagree with certain decisions still we present ourselves with the pleas to the same judiciary out of respect," he added.

Chandio lauded the contributions of President Asif Ali Zardari for entrenchment of democracy in the country through the constitutional amendments, consensus based decisions with the opposition and for successful march towards completion of the government's constitutional time period.

He blamed some news anchor- persons for trying to create misunderstanding between the government and the judiciary saying at least three of them had been proven wrong for giving unsubstantiated analysis and predictions which never materialised.

"They just try to make a mountain of a molehill. To create something out of nothing to instill confusion in the nation," he said.

To a question about any looming change of the ministers in the federal cabinet, the Minister said that the political parties take decisions from time to time, however, he said he did not know of any impending change.

Chandio was accompanied by the leaders of the PPP on the occasion.
