KARACHI: Malir Bar Association former president Salahuddin and his lawyer son were shot dead by unidentified assailants at Bakra Pirri, Gaziabad Malir area ofKarachiearly Saturday, police said.
Unidentified gunmen opened indiscriminate fire on their car as result a Salahuddin and his son were severely injured. Both were rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice of Sindh High Court (SHC) Justice Musheer Alam took notice of the incident and appointed District and Session Judge to oversee the investigation process.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Home Minister Manzoor Wassan expressed grief over the mishap and condemned the killings.
They asked Inspector General of Sind Police Mushtaq Ahmed Shah for a report on the incident. The lawyers’ associations also condemned the incident.
