RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 18,438.35 points with a positive change of 99.76 and volume of 83,446,300 shares. High and Low were 18,580.41 and 18,192.42 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 21 were up, 9 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 116,931,860 shares. Total companies traded were 314 of which 177 were positive, 117 were negative and 20 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 18,722,600 shares. It was followed by Power Generation and Distribution with a total traded volume of 11,753,500 shares.
