RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 18,341.34 points with a positive change of 441.48 and volume of 77,918,300 shares. High and Low were 18,518.77 and 17,899.86 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 23 were up, 7 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 110,886,460 shares. Total companies traded were 327 of which 219 were positive, 98 were negative and 10 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 19,400,400 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 14,157,600 shares.
