Jamali thanks Premier Gilani for support

ISLAMABAD: Former Deputy Chairman Senate Jan Muhammad Jamali has thanked Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for consistent support in discharge of his duties as Deputy Chairman.

In a letter written to the Prime Minister, Jan Jamali said, "I thank you (PM Gilani) for your consistent support to me in discharge of my responsibilities as Deputy Chairman."

He also praised the leadership of Prime Minister Gilani in pursuit of national reconciliation and for wisely tackling challenges to democracy in the country.

Jamali said during his tenure, he tried utmost to uphold the democratic values and foster political harmony on issues of national importance.
