KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 18,778.23 points with a positive change of 38.74 and volume of 48,539,400 shares. High and Low were 19,064.67 and 18,594.51 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 23 were up, 6 were down and 1 was unchanged.
Total volume traded in the market was 78,099,340 shares. Total companies traded were 304 of which 139 were positive, 145 were negative and 20 were unchanged.
Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 16,558,100 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 6,193,470 shares.
