PARIS: European Union soybean imports in the 2018/19 season that started last July totalled 12.3 million tonnes (mn t) by April 28, up 11 percent compared with the same stage last year, data published by the European Commission on Monday showed.
EU 2018/19 soymeal imports were at 14.2 mn t, down 9 percent from a year earlier.
EU 2018/19 palm oil imports were at 5.3 mn t, virtually unchanged from a year earlier.
