PARIS: European Union soft wheat exports in the 2018/19 season that started last July had reached 16.9 million tonnes (mn t) by April 28, down 2 percent from a year earlier, European Commission data showed on Monday.
EU 2018/19 barley exports stood at 3.8mn t, down 20 percent from a year ago.
EU 2018/19 maize imports were at 20.1mn t, up 39 percent versus a year earlier.
